Why Trim Trees?

Trimming or pruning trees is removing some branches or limbs. But not just any! Correct trim is necessary for the tree’s health. Incorrect trim, on the other hand, can cause the tree to die.
There are a few reasons to trim trees.
First of all, the tree’s health. Dead and damaged branches need to be cut off to prevent insects & disease from entering the tree. Crotches need to be eliminated to prevent the tree’s splitting and breaking.
Proper tree trim also promotes a tree’s growth.
Another reason to trim trees is to maintain the natural form and look.
Last but not least cause for tree trimming is safety. That’s when a tree can be a hazard to houses, roofs, driveways, people, etc. Trimming for safety is very important in areas where heavy storms and hurricanes are common.
Hurricane season in Florida begins June 1st and ends November 30th so make sure to check on your trees if they don’t need special attention!
